Position Summary
Legend Brands is seeking an EDI Coordinator to work with the company’s EDI program. Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in high volume on boarding of trade partners including mapping and testing of freight and shipping carriers, warehouse, items, pricing, and experience working with unit of measure conversions. Ideal candidate will have experience working with eCommerce.

• Ensure the organization is able to carry out business transactions with other companies using electronic channels
• Responsible to maintain and analyze company EDI requirements and current system implementations in order to make recommendations for improvement. Document and correct any issues
• Undertake various changes in the current system to overcome any drawbacks faced
• Work with Legend Brands processes to manage EDI for trading partners using SPS Commerce or other EDI communications tools
• Coordinate and work with each trading partner to understand the specific EDI documents(i.e., 850, 855, 856, 810) required for transmission to and from Legend Brand’s ERP system and resolve any operational issues
• Work with the internal Sales and Warehouse teams to ensure all daily EDI related activity is properly executed and on time
• Responsible for new process development, change requests and enterprise integration projects
• Collaborate with EDI trading partners to resolve transmission problems
• Coordinate, test and manage all EDI implementations with new EDI trading partner

• Expert in EDIX12 standards for purchase order, invoice, ASN, remittance, etc. transactions
• Working knowledge of EDI transactions in a prior role, with at least 2-4 years of industry experience working with EDI technologies
• Experience with SQL preferred
• Must have significant ERP experience, be proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products (D365 experience a plus)
• Knowledge of document formats and details to perform daily operations
• Strong Project/time management skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good analytical skills and the ability to read and understand complex documents and procedures
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to discuss technical issues with non-technical staff
• Ability to perform unit of measure conversions, Freight Carrier mapping, Shipping Carrier mapping and Warehouse mapping are essential skills
• Ability to schedule, plan and organize multiple activities and projects
• Associate or higher college degree in IT or related field preferred
