Position Summary
Legend Brands is currently seeking a Senior Buyer. This position will work out of our Prescott, AZ facility. We are open to discuss working out of our Phoenix or Chandler locations, with frequent travel to Prescott location.  

This role encompasses purchasing, strong negotiating, supplier management, process development, statistical analysis, data entry and cost management as well as subordinate training and mentoring with a focus on continuous process improvement. The Senior Buyer must develop strong internal/external relationships within the organization and the supply chain and work closely with supplier base to ensure quality and cost management.

Only individuals who meet these posted requirements will be considered. 
• 5-7 years of related experience 
• Successful track record of managing vendors and components while focusing on quality and cost reduction
• Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with Engineering Departments; capable of reading and understanding component drawings
• MRP/ERP experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to review business opportunities and effectively present thoughts and ideas on approach & process improvement
• Knowledge of both domestic and offshore logistics, a plus
• 4-year college degree
